Carrick on Shannon Town Centre
Carrick on Shannon is a thriving tourist destination in the mid-west. Working with Leitrim County Council, An Garda Siochana, Carrick Community CCTV Ltd. and Carrick Chamber of Commerce in 2019, J&N Security Consultants Ltd. created a system design for a Town Centre CCTV System which met the operation requirements of all stakeholders. Work on a Phase 2 CCTV system for Carrick on Shannon has commenced in January 2026.
Dingle Fishery Harbour Centre
Following consultations with Department of Marine Engineers and Harbour Management in 2025, it was agreed that the existing CCTV system at Dingle Fishery Harbour Centre would be upgraded. J&N Security Consultants Ltd. were engaged to develop a system design for a CCTV System which met the operation operational requirements of all stakeholders and to provide comprehensive coverage of all areas within the Fishery Harbour Centre (FHC).
Roscommon Town Centre
The main stakeholders in this project were Roscommon County Council, An Garda Siochana, Roscommon and Roscommon Town Team.
Following initial consultations with all the stakeholders and extensive site visits, a number of areas throughout the town centre and along the outer orbital route were identified for CCTV coverage.
Cliffs Of Moher Visitor Centre
The location is a very challenging marine environment on the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland.
Following initial consultations with all stakeholders and site assessment work, J&N Security Consultants have created a system design which meets the operation operational requirements of Clare County Council for the Cliffs of Moher site.
Manor West Retail Park, Tralee
Manor West is an extensive Retail Park located in Tralee, Co. Kerry. The Retail Park consists retail units based around a central Plaza building. In 2016 Retail Park Management engaged J&N Security Consultants Ltd to design a bespoke, high end CCTV solution for the Retail Park covering internal areas in the Main Mall and external areas throughout the Retail park.
Dun Laoghaire Harbour
In July 2025, J&N Security Consultants Ltd. were engaged by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLRCC) to provide design and consultancy services for the upgrade of the existing Dun Laoghaire Harbour CCTV system and for the provision of a fibre network throughout the Harbour on which the CCTV system would operate.
Wicklow County Council
J&N Security Consultants Ltd. were engaged by Wicklow County Council (WCC) in January 2024 to provide design and consultancy services for the upgrade of the existing Wicklow and Arklow Port CCTV systems along with a fibre network for Wicklow Port and access control and automation systems for both Ports.
Wexford County Council
J&N Security Consultants Ltd. were engaged by Wexford County Council (WCC) in 2025 to prepare a system design for a new Cloud Based Access Control system for their HQ offices in Wexford Town to replace the existing Access Control system which has been in place for over 15 years.
Monaghan Town CCTV
J&N Security Consultants Ltd. were engaged by Monaghan County Council to prepare a system design for a new Town Centre CCTV System in Monaghan Town. This required the installation of CCTV in both in the Town Centre and in a number of areas outside of the Town Centre with all cameras being connected via a wireless transmission system to a CCTV server installed at Monaghan County Council offices.
Data Protection Impact Assessment
A Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) is a mandatory GDPR process to identify and minimise data privacy risks for data processing activities. It involves mapping data flows, assessing necessity, evaluating risks to individuals' rights, and implementing mitigation measures.
National Parks And Wildlife Service
The National Park & Wildlife Service (NPWS) in 2020 engaged J&N Security Consultants Ltd. to design a CCTV system for their offices and storage Depotdepot at Muckross, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
Following consultations with the NPWS, the operational requirements for the system were identified and the system was put to tender.
St. Vincent de Paul
J&N Security Consultants Ltd. have a long standing relationship with Saint Vincent de Paul in Co. Kerry.
Since 2013, J&N Security Consultants Ltd. have worked closely with SVDP Management to identify the operational requirements for security systems for all their premises throughout County Kerry.
