Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) development is a much sought after service since the introduction of GDPR in 2018. 

 

A Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) is a mandatory GDPR process to identify and minimise data privacy risks for data processing activities.  It involves mapping data flows, assessing necessity, evaluating risks to individuals' rights, and implementing mitigation measures.  DPIAs are required for security technologies, systematic monitoring, or sensitive data processing.  

 

J&N Security Consultants Ltd. have been engaged by a number of clients to prepare DPIA’s for existing CCTV systems.   The process begins with initial client consultations followed by a site visit to assess the extent and type of CCTV system involved.  DPIA’s are developed using either the clients DPIA template or if necessary, J&N Security Consultants Ltd. can provide a suitable template.
